#1: try going to a 'used computer' store and see if they have any cheap W98 discs (I have W98SE = Second Edition and I love it

#2: Avast = AVG (anti-virus) and it's pretty good, user-friendly and FREE!

#3: type 'Major Geeks' in Google or Yahoo Search for a LOT of freeware.

You cannot get Microsoft Office Products for Free.

I would recommend however looking at http://www.openoffice.org There you can find a FREE full featured Office Application.

For Free Anti Virus, I found that the best in my opinion is Anti-Vir, which you can find at http://www.free-av.com
