antivirus...Symantec Norton Antivirus 360.

burning prog...NERO! yeah!

other progs...you can try going to windowblinds.com (if you have a PC) and download some skins for Windows. also, get the complete macromedia kit from adobe and PS3 (photo suite 3, not playstation 3) which is also from adobe.
Nero is good stuff for burning and for anti virus take a look at Kaspersky they have the most updates.
McAfee is the best antivirus i ever used....
