Problem while i want install software in windows,installation progress not showed!?

Hi

when i want to install softwares in windows xp ,windows dont show installation progress wizard and i cant install software,i install

mcafee antivirus on my system .but this problem not solved,then i do format my drives and install windows vista ultimate but this problem not solved(when i want to install software in windows installatin progress wizard hide in windows.

please help me that this problem how solved?

1. You had Windows XP on your computer. When you tried to install a program (software) the installation wizard didn't show the progress status bar and the software would not install. Then you installed McAfee AV but it didn't help.

2. Next, you formatted your hard drive (completely erased everything) and installed Vista Ultimate but you still have the same problem.

It would help to know if the program you were trying to install was on a disk or if it was being downloaded from a website. The disk could be damaged or the download link might not be working right. It would also help to know if the disk or download works on a different computer. It it does, that might indicate a physical problem with your hard drive.
