When i say the best, i mean "the best"... One that protects from viruses, spyware, internet sites, adware etc. etc.... I want the works and I'm willing to pay. I've heard that good protection usually requires more than one software.

Do not get Norton it is an expensive piece of bloat-ware that will totally slow down your comp. Just download avast home edition free. It is what i use and it has protected my computer numerous times.

It has real time protection so it prevents new viruses from infecting your computer.

I've gone where most don't venture and I can tell you it does block a lot of trojans for getting on your system and it won't let you continue without telling the ondemand scanner what's your next move. I rather be prompted to let software make the final call.
