Does anyone know the best way to get antivirus etc that is affordable or free even????

I got a free Norton trial disc for 3 mths which has nearly ran out. I can't really afford to buy the expensive software out right. Also i'm with aapt and someone told me some companys provide it with their service. I'm pretty clueless as this is my first computer. Thanks

Jeez.. this has got to be the number one most frequently asked question on the whole of Yahoo. Didn't you read any of the other ten thousand answers to the same question?

There are several good free anti virus programs, some people swear by Avast!, but I think Grisoft AVG antivirus is better. Whichever you choose, get rid rid of that system hog Norton, it's junk. Uninstall it and replace it with AVG.

I use these programs to secure my computer:

AVG Antivirus

Zone Alarm Firewall

SpyBot Search %26 destroy

Ad-Aware 2007
