ive been looking all over but cant find a good antivirus protection thing thats FAST and is absolutely free..im looking for one that will remove all viruses and scan my computer and will do it quickly thats for free..not one thats free to try..

If you want free anti-virus software then go with AVG 8.0 free edition, some people suggest AntiVir which has a good detection rate but the free version can take upto 2 hours to update which makes it almost unusable, where as AVG updates are small and takes seconds .

I would recommend using the firefox web browser it is simple and easy to use and it blocks a lot of drive-by viruses that internet explorer would let through.

I've tried other browsers like Opera (way too fussy and complicated to use) and Safari (too slow %26 and not as customizable), but firefox remains my main browser.
