2008 Antivirus for Windows Me?

I have an older computer with the Windows Me operating system, which is not necessarily one of Microsoft's bright spots; so much so that they stopped supporting it in 2006. The problem that I'm now having is finding Antivirus/Spyware software for 2008. Looks like that support has drifted away as well.

As I said, the computer is older and small, but operating well, and I haven't had any particular problems with this O/S, so don't want to have to scrap it just because of utility software issues. Could upgrade the operating system to XP, but have read horror stories about compatability issues afterward.

Anyone out there with this problem, and any ideas besides the junk yard?

I upgraded from 95 to XP with no problems at all, just backup everything you need, reformat to delete ME and install XP, there shouldn't be any problems
